Well, excepting eating and sleeping time, this sculpture took me three entire days!
And here he is – a certain mysterious potions master, concentrating intently at his cauldron!
I like that there are so many things to notice in this one… the Slytherin serpents at each end of the trunk he sits on, and the fact that they each create an ‘S’ for Slytherin, but also ‘S. S.’ for Severus Snape! The intriguing little bits in the potion and the way they seem to slide off his hand as he adds them to the mix… the dark mark… the glow in the dark wetness of the potion itself!

wow artyhelen this is fantastic -so intricate and detailed – I love the dedicated way his whole focus is on the potion. Thank you. I especially like the profile – his hair and nose look just right

The look on his face is cool too, concentrating in a kind of darkly furious way, and the cauldron looks heavy, that is hard to do, the illusion of weight but you got it brilliantly, oh and one more, the implication of movement, he really looks like he is in motion, not posed, Cool Bananas.

Sorry, Helen about all the comments, feel free to delete, but my dream job would be to write a script for a film about magic and timemachines animestyle but with (I don’t know want you call it, Nick Parks style with the models). And I think that is why I am looking at closely at your work, there is such character and a very dynamic feel. Rage on, I say,
